A few facts about Watchet

The town is perfectly situated for visitors to explore Somerset and Exmoor. Watchet is a quiet and charming town steeped in heritage from the early Viking invaders to it's more recent past as a key harbour town for trade in the Bristol channel. Watchet is the town that inspired poet Samuel Coleridge to write 'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner'. Watchet harbour is now a converted marina offering all the latest facilities.
